After 15 years as a hospitality business entrepreneur, Joseph embarked on his long-held dream of becoming a pilot. After graduating from SFC as a flight instructor, his potential was quickly recognised, with his passion for customer service and quality training leading him to the role of CEO in 2014. With knowledge of the aviation sector and its global demands, Joseph has placed SFC in a position to continue to expand for generations to come.

Combining 35 years of aviation experience across its broad spectrum, Andrew brings an unparallelled richness to SFC’s flight operations. Demonstrating the value of understanding all aspects of flying, Andrew’s experience stretches from work in Air Traffic Control, long-range charter and freight operations, all the way to test flying and instruction. Well-rounded, and having built his own aircraft, his envious flying record makes him an invaluable component of SFC’s team.

A familiar face at SFC since 2013, Carlos brings professionalism framed with a warm smile whenever he enters the doors. Along with his roots in international airlines and ground operations, Carlos richly complements the College with his experience in all aspects of customer service and student support. Now as a Grade 1 Instructor and Team Leader, his infectious influence spreads through SFC, guiding both staff and students to nothing short of success.

Having gained a Commercial Pilot Licence in 2021, Connor's flying career has seen him gain extensive experience in his many roles within SFC. From his first flight in 2018, Connor has contributed significantly to SFC, from his work in student support to his current role as Flying Instructor and Operations Manager. His proficiency and expertise makes him a priceless asset to SFC, as well as a strong source of support for aspiring pilots and students.

Having first tasted flight in 2013, Tristan’s unashamed passion for aviation makes him a valuable asset to the SFC team. Attaining his Commercial Pilots Licence in 2019, and his instructors rating shortly after, he fuses his strong aerobatic experience with teaching excellence – all bringing a unique edge to our flight college.

A truly accomplished aviator, Ali is living proof that a good pilot never stops learning. Having spent 45 years flying for multiple international airlines, he has logged 23,000 flying hours on both Boeing and Airbus aircraft. With internationally recognised instructor qualifications, and a published author of his celebrated aviation stories, Ali brings extensive and enviable experience to SFC, making him the perfect choice as Head of Ground Theory.

A commercial pilot since 1983, Cam brings 28 years of Vocational Education and Training to SFC, further cementing the college’s place as Sydney’s premium flying school. Cam has gained professional experience in variety of fields, from five-star hotels around the world, national business, and has led other training professionals as a former head teacher. Combined with his passion of flight, he plays a key role as a board member, and anchors the college for its future growth.

Collaborative by nature, Dan ushers in his 14 years of safety experience to SFC, always ensuring that safety is truly second-to-none. As a passionate safety manager with experience in both major airlines and general aviation, he focuses on continuous safety improvement, learning design, and risk management across the entire aviation spectrum. With the front-line team’s safety at the core of all SFC stands for, Dan is the perfect choice for a continued, unblemished safety record at our College.

A more recent face of SFC, Brad’s love for aviation runs deep. Having gained both a commercial pilot licence and multi-engine instrument rating in 2010, he later immersed himself in aircraft maintenance, becoming a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in 2017. As SFC’s Chief Engineer, his unique blend of piloting experience and engineering skillset ensures a seamless bridging together SFC’s operational needs with aircraft maintenance requirements.

Over 15 years of experience in sales, customer service and people development has seen Angela build and perfect successful businesses. Understanding the motivations and barriers to client engagement, she utilises her talents to develop and implement successful sales strategies. Her unique set of skills, and ability to continuously identify best practice and exceptional leadership, drives the consistent growth and revenue that we see at SFC.

Having spent over 15 years in a successful business of commerce and people development, Raymond’s journey to aviation started later in life, becoming a student in SFC’s commercial pilot’s course in 2020. As a dynamic and creative person, Raymond’s unique skillset of uncovering opportunities to build relationships has led him to his role today. Still continuing his training, he has played a pivotal role in rebranding SFC, as well as creating programs and initiatives to educate the future of the aviation industry.
